Default powerful, portable laptop

okay im not an expert in notebooks, so heres the deal:

my friend needs a notebook that hes gonna use for school, entertainment purposes, and some gaming (WoW and BF2)

he needs a good portable yet powerful laptop... he will be using it mostly unpluged so make sure it has something like a C2D...

his budget is $2500 so money wont be a problem...

I like the Voodoo laptops. I heard HP bought them awhile ago. I like HP for pre built computers.
