Default Power Supply Qustion

I have a 450 Watt pwr supply, and my computer has i think a 250 or 350, and it has a AMD Duron 1.19 GHz, so my qustion is if I would put the 450 in would it mess anything up.

the only thing that would happen is if u have a warranty it would be void but it would do nothing to your computer

yeah it voids the warranty. so if your not computer savy. your probably best off to take it to a computer service and have them do it. then again you could just get help from people o the forum

Thing is, If he has a PC with a Duron in it, that he bought - The warranty will proberbly have expired.

Go for it - But if it's running fine now, then you proberbly wont notice a performance increase.

well the reason I want to do it, so i can put my graphics card in it. I did that, but now it freezes all the time, does anyone know why?

well on the box it says mim of 250 and i couldnt even get it to work with that, so when i put the 450 in i got further but yeah it keeps freezing.
