Power supply and Fans?

Okay, i'm pretty new to computers but im starting to get fairly interested in performance. I just got my first decent computer:

- Amd 64 3200+
- Msi K8T N-FISR mofo
- Nvidia 5900XT
- x2 Legend 512mb ram
- Hitachi 160 gig 7200 rpm HD
- Alien ECE4292 Tower

Now for the questions, it's been running fairly hot (up to 50 degrees celcius) and i want to lower this temp as much as possible without spending to much money. It just has one 80mm fan that came with it, and i think the areas where the shop cut corners were cooling and power supply.

Any fan recommendations for this tower? exaust is important because it will get pretty close to 50 degrees celcius throughout the summer here in brisbane. I have also read that a good power supply is pretty important for the amd 64 3200, i dont know enough to understand the reasoning behind this but is this true? and will i need to upgrade with additional fans in mind? I will get the specs of the power supply if you need them,

50c is about 122 f
thats not bad, but if you want it cooler start with a good cpu cooler like thermaltake, zalman, or thermalright. then you could add a few case fans if you would like. Fan placement depends on the case.
