Default Power supply 550W

Hey guys I'm woundering if I upgrade my 230W power supply to a 550W supply to boost overall performance on my whole machine all together.

But I was thinking If my board has the right specs. for it to handle having it inside my machine, Here is the link to the website I am purchasing it of from.

Let me know, I have a 754 socket motherboard Will this work on my pc because I was unsure because it says it works on p3 and p3 boards.

Thanks for reading, and thanks for replying if you do.

yes it will work but it wont do anything for the performance of ur comp, uve got one outdated comp there, if u want more performance then save for a new comp
