with the broadband have you got aedsl filter on every phone extension in your house , that could be causing your internet probs and where abouts in scotland are you
I'm in Stirling, Central Scotland.
I 'did' have filters on each phone sockets, but I got disconnected several times as well. One of the filters broke and I thought that it doesn't make a huge difference if I replace it or not.
Yes. If you want any difference with graphics you'll need to upgrade your graphics card. Depending on how much RAM you add it can really make a difference. I'd say adding an extra 1GB will make a huge difference. When I went from 512MB to 1.5GB I noticed a huge performance jump. If you don't want to spend the money to upgrade an extra 1GB you could always just get another stick of 512, that should increase your performance pretty well too.
So you're saying, if I upgrade a desktop, which was NOT build from scratch by myself, which was already made for me, and bought at a shop, that I'll open my tower, and change the graphics card? lol
I wouldn't know what to do.
For starters, which graphics card would be compatible with my system?
And how do I upgrade/change the graphics card?
Do I simply disconnect the old one, and swap it with the new.
Then start up the system, and viola, it works.
OR do I need to start up the system, configure the settings so that the computer can recognise the new graphics card? AND update/change any software relating to the old graphics card. blah blah
All confusing and too much. lol
