there is an adapter for 20pin to 24pin....

here ncix.com(it is a canadian site) has them in stock

My mobo has a 24-pin and my psu only had a 20, but it still worked, all I had to do was put the plug in so that the bottom 4 were still showing.

if the guy doesnt know if you he can hook ur psu up to ur mobo do u really think he should be putting together ur computer?

It doesnt run really stable with 20 pin. I had to upgrade to a 24 pin since its the ownage.

well thats bad considering i might be able to just power this set-up with my 300 watts as it is. what do you guys think about the 6600gt? it says needs a 350w psu but thats total power for the whole system. im thinking the pci-ex slot will power the video card because i dont see a connecter to hook the psu stright to the gpu
