Default power suply?

hey im building a gam8ng comp and need some parts.
well right now im looking for a good power supply.wat power supply do u guys recomend? thx for ur help.

it better be 500W so that it has enough power without needing to work with full capacity. If it works 100% all the time it will reduce it's lifetime dramatically.

500 watt sounds good. it all matters how much extra stuff you are putting in your case(second HDD,fans,second disk drive...).

anything by aspire, coolmax, thermaltake....just post some links of what you are looking at

I wouldn't do Aspire.. their voltage regulators are poorly designed in my professional opinion. Thermaltake is decent, a bit loud, Antec is EXCELLENT, Coolmax.. eh... so so, 6/10 for them. Enermax is also not too terrible. Antec is probably the best out of all of them.

hmm....didn't know that about aspire. I have a thermaltake silent purepower, and it's not all that loud in my opinion.
