You will need at least 350w. That thing won't even turn on with a 200w PSU.

The PSU not producing enough power isn't going to stop the computer turning on or stop it doing anything at all! it would just be unstable and freeze a lot. And 200W should power that PC O.K. Take a look at this link: http://www.extreme.outervision.com/p...ulatorlite.jsp
It should boot up fine if the PSU is in working order. If you have tested all the components then the other other thing left to do is test the switch so try moving to a different case.

i just used that calculator and it says i need a 290 watt psu.
I have a 200w psu.

Really, are you sure? But it doesn't matter that's at the peak. Your computer should still boot. Even if the PSU is not powerful enough, it shouldn't just do nothing.
