Default Possible to upgrade laptop video cards??

Was looking to buy a nice HP laptop. but it only has a geforce gt 230m video card in it. wanted to know it i could put in a gtx 260m into it..or if this is possible at all??? - laptop noob.

In a word - nope! There's no industry standard for video cards in laptops like there are in normal desktops, so you're pretty out of luck on that front.

so Iguess thats why the companies can jack up prices for not even adding much over a cheaper model X_X
