Default Is this possible? nvidia and ati card on one comp?

is it possible to have say an hd5970 card in one slot, and then say an nvidia card with physx just to use the physx feature? or is this opening a can of worms?

what if i went with an actual physx pci card i found on ebay? because the 5970 alone is enough for me, and if i could pair a physx card to it, thatd be awesome

New physX gfames are a lot more demanding than the old ageia games. You want something with at least 112 SPs.

You will need hacked drivers too.

That is extremely old, and afaik, not powerful enough for current physX titles. Having an underpowered physX card will kill your performance.

i understand, i simply figured the physx part didnt require a lot of power and it would be just like adding physx to the 5970, apparently its not that easy, and im not about to spend 200 on another card plus maybe even HOURS of aggrevation tryin to get the drivers to work together harmoniously. from what i understand the 5970 drivers suck as it is, nevermind trying to merge it with something completely foreign.
