Oops... I one sec and I'll fix it. I had one that did use AMD processors... Wonder why it brought me to that one when i searched again.

Well if you got mobo right, then everything looks fine, I just think that ram is WAY over priced.... 325 for a gig?? You can buylike 2 sticks of 512 and pay only like 200, and use that 125 for somethine else. Thats what I would do, but hey its your computer.

That's DDR2, mind you... I didn't want to get the 'value" ram, either.

only intel supports ddr2
It is also ecc and registered.
dont get sapphire, powercolor is better.

find better ram than that, its ecc (slower) and cl3 (cl2.5 is faster)

Ah, alright... After my last post, I was wondering about DDR2 and AMD... UGH... Newegg's search messed me all up leading me to that Intel mobo!

Not to mention you are likely to find the typical modules of DDR2 to perform less than DDR. I would recommend maybe looking for Corsair XMS or something similar to that for RAM. And the VGA will do fine.

If your not going to overclock, see if Scan will ship their OEM Elixir memory (1GB for ~85). If you are going AMD, get 2 x 512MB which are cheaper, they come to 58, and they double the bandwith.
