Notice that $75 is the starting bid. The reserve hasn't been met yet, there's 0 bids. The Buy it Now price is $300, so the reserve is probably pretty high.

Save up some more money, and do a new Core 2 Duo build. It's not really practical to upgrade to anything else right now. What you have now will work for a while still, and upgrading your processor a little bit isn't really going to be a very big upgrade. And if you really want better performance, buy a nice heatsink and overclock it a bit. It's not like you need this Pentium D lasting forever anyways.
