Default Is it possible to automatically "hide" all files of a certain type?

Hello everyone! I have a question and would really appreciate any help you could offer.

I use several programs that create small files in the directories that they use. For example ableton live (a music mixing program) creates index files (.asd) for every song that I use in the program. So my music directories look something like this:

Alex M.O.R.P.H. - Sunshine (Nitrous Oxide Remix)
Alex M.O.R.P.H. - Sunshine (Nitrous Oxide Remix).mp3.asd
Avenger - Pegasus (Sunny Lax Remix)
Avenger & Hodel - Rebirth (Original Mix)
Avenger & Hodel - Rebirth (Original Mix).mp3.asd
Bjorn Ekesson - Sunchaser

Once in a while i will go through and sort by file type, then select all these .asd files and hide them through the properties menu.

Is there a way to just have these files automatically hidden so i dont have to this? It would also be great for torrent files and numerous other things.

If anyone knows a way, please let me know! Thank you in advance,
