Default Is this possible?

When I got my 7600GT it came with an RCA cable (one of those yellow, white, and red plug things). Can I plug my XBOX into that? If I do, does the computer need to be on? Do I need special software?

Thats all thanks for any help I get.

if im not mistaken, those cables are only "out" meaning that they need to connect to either a tv or projector.

Does your monitor have S-video input on it?

Don't know about my monitor, but my video card definitely does. I can see no S-video thing on the monitor itself.

edit: would THIS? do it?

nope it is not possible with that, that is only output for HDTV, and the other just turns s-video out, into RCA out, but if you want to hook your xbox up to your computer get a gamebridge, i got one of these for my laptop and its awesome, just go on ebay and search "gamebridge" they can come with a tv tuner as well, any questions feel free to pm me
