Default portable OS boot

hi, im downloading a portable version of windows vista its 213 mb and its a iso so i can burn it to a disk . how would i boot my computer. would i just insert the disk and the reboot my computer. what do i choose.

sorry if it sounds a little stupid

Set your rom drive to first boot device in the bios and reboot, press any key to boot from cd when prompted, keep an eye out for this prompt as it passes by quite quickly.
