I am making a Chart of all the Diferant Parallel Port there are and how they run.
Can anyone fix anything I do not have right and fill in the rest and just cut and past it back into here.
Thanks

Parallel Ports.

Port Type = 1.
Port Format = Standard Parallel Port.
BUS Width = 1. Byte.
Output Mode =
Input Mode =
Transfer Rate =
Number Of Pins = 25
Data Trafic = Unidirectional.

Port Type = 2.
Port Format = Standard Parallel Port.
BUS Width = 1. Byte.
Output Mode Compatible = 1. Byte.
Input Mode Nibble = 4. Bits.
Transfer Rate = 150 kBps
Number Of Pins = 25
Data Trafic = Unidirectional.

Port Type = 3.
Port Format = Standard Parallel Port.
BUS Width = 1. Byte.
Output Mode Compatible = 1. Byte.
Input Mode Byte = 1. Byte.
Transfer Rate = 150 kBps
Number Of Pins = 25
Data Trafic = Bidirectional.

Port Type = 4.
Port Format = Enhanced Parallel Port.
BUS Width = 1. Byte.

Input Mode Nibble =
Transfer Rate =
Number Of Pins = 25
Data Trafic = Bidirectional.

Sorry let me ask this way.

The first Parallel Port only sent Data was the speed 50 kBps

Was the First Parallel Port 50 kBps speed??

That doesn't make any sense. That is like asking:

What is the cars 100mph speed?

[edit] Or: Was the cars 100mph speed? [end edit]

I'm not trying to give you a hard time. It's just that if I can't understand you, I can't help you.

Thats ok I understand sometimes my Fingers go Type Faster then what I meen to say.

I am looking all over the net and in all these Text Books and I found one Document that says the First Parallel Port was 8. Bits Wide that is 1. Byte ok I get this.

And the Speed was 50 kBps

I want to know if what I am reading is right thats all because you can go to another sorce and they may have a diferant speed.

??????

OK I think I have all mt specs down right for the First and second Parallel Ports that came pout.
Can anyone tell me if they are RIGHT thanks
