to send stuff to that specific port I need a physical addres.
now.. if I use the NET USE command, for the printserver, and LPT1, will the "hardware address" be the same as for the real LPT1 port?

allso, will it forward, or forward first, and store till "done" response sent?

anyone has experience with this kind of setup?

Look, by relay, I mean this:

and still I don't want to print anything with this.
$printing = FALSE;
$ethernet_printer_shareing = FALSE;
$controlling_relays_wireless = TRUE;

why not buy a complete solution? couse a 4 relay array costs 500 us$.
thats why. If I can pigyback it thisway, its under 80.

These folks have interfacing devices out the wazoo.

Easier to write programs for IMO.

And I do not want to get in to it again with you. Just trying to offer alternatives to your problem.
