Default And...

Run any antivirus and ad/spy/malware tools in safe mode.
Also you might want to disable the restore points. Nasties like to hide out in them and get reinstalled when you think they're gone.
NOTE: Disabling the restore points will delete them. But sometimes you have to take strong measure to get the little blaggards out.
When you are sure your system has a clean bill of health turn them back on.

I got rid of the pop ups with ad-aware, along with about 500 other spyware applications. I tried Microsoft AntiSpyware, but it will never run all the way through the scan, the first time I ran it it said that the virtual memory was too low so I incresed it (eventually all the way to 4 GB) and after trying it in safe mode with 768MB RAM and 4GB virtual memory it still froze whe nit got to a certian point. I am going to install other spyware removal programs that were listed in this thread also to remove the other spyware. Thanks for helping me out on this guys.
