Default pny 1024mb 9800GT

i was looking at buying this for my computer what are the pro and cons of this card? will it run on xp no problem? how big of power supply do you recommend?

It's a very capable video card when paired with a good CPU. They recommend at least a 400W power supply with a +12V rating of 26 Amps.

What's the rest of your system look like?

(2) 7300gt 256mb
3gb DDR2
250GB sata II 300 hard drive
apevia x-plorer ATX tower
500 watt power supply

the 9800gt works fine with XP right?

Yup, it's completely compatible with XP. Should be a nice upgrade from your dual 7300GT setup.

I'd like to know how much this card is going to cost. A lot of the time, the 1GB models are very overpriced and you can buy a much faster model for the same price.
