pleaz help with .sub file

I downloaded a movie from a bittorrent. It was in korean..no english, but came with a SUB file. I also download a bsplayer my friend reccommended, but it wont open my sub file for some reason, plus everytime i open it,nothing happens and it just says "no subfile" please help me
