Hi guys, I'm on time constraints right now so any help asap would be appreciated. I'm sure this has something to do with a virus rather than hardware complications.
Whenever I boot up XP, it crashes and restarts on the XP logo loading screen. I've tried everything, from using the Windows XP disc - repair to using the last known configuration... which just ends up restarting as usual.
I tried safe mode, but it comes up with a blue screen stating that
"a problem has been detected and Windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer."
Luckily I have some of my important files backed up on an external hard drive but not all. Is there some way I could get in to just system restore or even just grab some files then start a fresh install?!?
