On almost all stock motherboards over clocking features are locked

does anyone know how to overclock my mb:ASUSTeK Puffer 1.xx i think it was custom made for my model: HP Media Center 2005

dowload everest ultimate editon and under Computer<Summary tell me the chipset i think i might be able to get you started if you stick with me

download that

go to PLL setup and under the drop down menu select ICS 9502XX
then click ignore gsb\pci or whatever its called

then go to clock control and see if you can raise them
use everest ultimate to see if the clock changed

I dont think your Mobo will let u overclock

ok thank to everyone who tryed to help me i just wont try my to coverclock my cpu but i did manage to overclock my graphics card lol ok anyway this thread is now CLOSED!
