Please HELP...Broken Video Card & Broken Brain...

Spore's system requirements are pretty low, so it should play on any of the video cards she listed. The HD 4650 should play it just fine and is a cheaper option than the Nvidia card. It is also a better performing card than the 7800GS.

Your correct that the motherboard only supports a total of 2GB (2x 1GB) of memory.

Much agreed; ATi has always made better stuff for lower end systems. Plus the 3850 would outperform most Nvidia cards in its region - Same for the 4650.

So forget about money for a second cause they are all within similar price ranges....Everyone is pretty much agreeing that the Gigabyte GV-R465D2-1GI Radeon HD 4650 1GB 128-bit GDDR2 AGP 8X HDCP is better than the EVGA 256-A8-N505-TR GeForce 7800GS 256MB 256-bit GDDR3 AGP 4X/8X Video Card and the SAPPHIRE 100228L Radeon HD 3850 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 AGP 4X/8X And ya guys all agree on the PSU and the Ram? You guys rock!
