just try small objects but try not to damage the stick, if you can't get it out then take the whole thing out and take it apart.

got it out but now its just a question of "will it work?" as i have violently poked sharp objects into the socket possible scratching the chip

You got it out! now whats you sister going to think about all this?
you should invent a Miraculous clip for stuck thingies.. seems to work for you

I will never attempt to put the card into that socket ever again!!! I'm quite releaved and was convinced to start with i was never going to get it out!

I did the same on my laptop, those memory stick duo's are soo mis leading! I just tipped my lappy on the side and shook it about like there was no tomorrow!
