Hi guys, I need some serious help with and issue I'm trying to figure out with my Computer system I am going to build. The problem is the case. I have seen A case I really like, which is the Ultra Black Aluminus. I really like the look of the case, but I have a problem. I also am going to get a Creative X-Fi Platinum, which has a additional Drive bay for volume control and headphones. The problem I am dealing with is that on the drive bay, there are volume knobs which I would guess are about 1 centimeter out of the case. The case has a swinging on the front of the case to cover the drives. My question is, and to anyone who may have this setup already (fingers crossed), do you think that the sound card will stop the case door from closing? I really hope it doesen't as it has taken a while to find a case that looked this nice. Pics of the card and case can be found here:

*Note that the plastic on the door is Inverted, which has brought up my concerns.

Personally, I think it will be fine, but if you want to be absolutely sure you may want to e-mail Ultra's customer support.

I actaully have the same problem because I have a sidewinder case with a door and I want to get a fan controller that has knobs on it. From the looks of it, it shouldn't hit. But if it does all you have to do is move the volume control in a bit so the knobs don't hit the door. Sure it won't look right but how often will you be looking at it and adjusting it? Thats what I am going to do with my fan controller. Hope this helps.
