Default PLease help!

Hey guys,

First post here because im suffering, my sound absolutely wont work, the only thing I could think of is my sound card, but I dont see how it could fry just like that.

when i try to play something...

"Windows Media Player cannot play the file because there is a problem with your sound device. There might not be a sound device installed on your computer, it might be in use by another program, or it might not be functioning properly."

This pops up... anyone know what I can do?

Default Re: PLease help!

check your Device manager.

See if you see any exclamation marks or warnings..
next step would be to update the drivers for the soundcard.
