Please Help.....

I have been using my laptop for a long time and all of a sudden my programs are running slower and some dont even work.... can someone please tell me what to do?

You could try some of the following:

• Defrag the hard drive
• Look through your stuff, and delete stuff you don't need to free space
• Get more RAM
• Reinstall the dodgy programs
• Possibly reinstall your OS
• Or...* PREPARE YOURSELF FOR IMMINENT HARD DRIVE FAILURE *

Be wary of the last one. It could be that your hard drive needs to go into retirement, and this would be symptematic of this, but I hope I'm wrong. Try the other options first.

the only problem is that i think it is a virus

what di you mean defrag......and also it keeps coming up a 180 search something saying that i must reinstall or some programs wont work

get spybot search and destroy, search it on google. Then come back.
