Unhappy Please help!

I wouldn't say im computer incompetent but i really cannot make sense of this, i found a BIOS update for an ASUS7V600 to increase stability of Kingston ram. I have a new set of pc3200 RAM and when installing it is prone to crashing etc. Anyway,

It would be appreciated if someone could make me a step by step instruction of how to go about flashing the motherboard with this bios update, the asus help is very useless.

My may concerns are:-

Do I need a brand new floppy disc (when i try to create a DOS startup disk it gives an "unsuspected I/o error"?)

What is a bundled MB support cd?

Do i need to update the flashinstaller?

and a step by step simple instruction would be appreciated

Thank you!

You sure your PC just doesn't support the new RAM? :S

Default Re: Please help!

Never flashed my mobo before cuz i dont have a floppy. But I would try a new floppy if an old on isnt working. Check out ASUS's site for instructions on how to do this.
