I'm new to the whole RAID concept. I won't need the explanation of each RAID version and what they do because I am already aware. I just want some fact-supported opinions of a platter drive in RAID versus a solid state in RAID. Cheap would be nice, but I don't settle for crap to "save money". max price: 150 per drive. Please, no raptors.
