Default Pitfall The lost expedition Vista

My friend has Pitfall the Lost expedition for PC and it doesn't run on Vista. It gives the error message "The OS is not adequate for running PITFALL The Lost Expedition"
The game matches the required and recommended system requirements. It does not install!

Thanks a lot!!!!

Probably not , ive got a few games that refuse to work on vista he could partition the drive and use an xp installation for this and other games that dont work on vista.
