Default Pissed

So I just upgraded my fx5200 to a hd 2600 ht AGP model

When I go to http://ati.amd.com/support/driver.html

It doesnt have a driver for the agp model, Its just Media Center>2600series(pcie) i mean wtf. Its worse than my fx5200 so far, and thats with the driver that came on the cd!!! I decided to try an amd card and try em out again. Now I know why I stay with nvidia!

Oh and yes i tried the pcie driver and ya no worky.

... and now my keyboard has turned off (g15) twice and restarted.... i think this is coincidence.

I got one of them, and it installed and rebooted. I installed 8.4 even though directxdiagnostic is showing 6.14.

Pffff... AMD.....

I dont have to erase all previous drivers do I?

It's a good idea to uninstall all previous drivers. A great program for removing all traces of previous graphics drivers is Driver Cleaner Pro.

However a reinstall after changing major components (Video cards, Motherboards, some sound cards) is almost necessary.
