Hey I fixed it!!!
I was all for taking out my drive and throwing out the nearest window as I had tried everything or so I thought, then as a last resort I ghosted my HDD back a couple of months and booted up, the found new hardware came up and it reinstalled my writer(why I dont know?) so I launched my DVD software and tried to burn a DVD and bugger me it worked first time, couldnt beleive it I had been tearing my hair out for 3 days uninstalling programs/ updating programs, checking for updates to no provail and a quick ghost restore fixed it in 20mins
