Default Pinging

I cant remember how to ping?

I remember doing it once by opening something by typing something in RUN in win xp

Umm what do you mean ping? Ping is kind of like lag and packetloss from or to a server, unless you want to manipulate it that is ...

If you want to check your ping to a server just go into cmd and type in ping -t <ip address or hostname>

For more options just type in ping in cmd and from there you can use a variety of tools to find out what you need

I wouldn't bother with the -t, because then you'll have to wonder about how to stop it ([ctrl]+[c])

just remember to ping a machine, first type ping, then type the machine name or IP...
ping computerforums.org
