Default phpBB questions...

i'm using beta 5 of phpbb3 (the people over there are being dicks).
is there a way to downgrade from beta 5 of phpbb3 to regular phpbb2? i've spent about 2-3 hours already playing around with this one getting it the way i like it now idk. is there a way? i might use this forever but its not really working right, as in forums/categories i make aren't actually showing up on the forum.
