Yeah, if AMD go down then Intel will have the whole market and prices as well.

Yeah seriously, AMD should be outputting better stuff. There basically is no more compitition between the two companies, since AMD is not keeping up.

Remember when Intel were getting their ass whooped? But they came back. AMD will do the same although it's going to be harder for them because they don't have the market share that Intel do.

I like Intel more generally, because they are dominating the CPU market right now.

DAMN 15 to 1... AMD shouldn't have released is so early... they definatley rushed production, they just wanted to get it out there... they should have takin there sweet time and they probably could have kicked the Q6600's ass... wtf AMD?

Sorry, I read that incorrectly. What I meant is that the error only happens in very specific circumstances, so turning off the fix isn't as big of a deal as some people are making it out to be. But yes, the fix is applied to every processor by default.

Except if you patch your bios you may not be able to turn it off.

Personally, I see the error as HUGE. I'm not an enterprise user and use virtualization, as well as some software uses virtualization featuers and windows will start using virtulization features to improve security. Virtualization is the future of computing.
