Default Phenom 9500?

First off, do these processors look awesome or what?

Also, I want to know the compatibility of these processors? They are socket AM2... but which motherboards support this processor?

Asus P5Q PRO | Intel Q6600, 3.40GHz | Core-Contact Freezer CPU cooler (36 idle) | (2x2)Gb Skillz DDR2 @ 978MHz | Radeon 4870 1Gb | Raptor 10K rpm 74Gb | Windows Vista x64 |

Default Re: Phenom 9500?

They are very cheap for quad cores that's true although not quite as well performing as the Q6600. They should work on AM2 motherboards as long as the manufacturer has released a BIOS update, you just won't get all the features that AM2+ brings.
AMD Phenom II X4 955 BE @ 4.0GHz + TU120E lapped - MSI 770-CD45 AM3 - 2x2GB OCZ DDR3 1333MHz - Sapphire HD 4870 - Samsung Spinpoint 500GB 7200RPM 16MB cache HDD - Tagan TG600-BZ Piperock - (Currently open test bed) - Windows Vista Home Premium 64bit.
