Arrow Persistent Identification Element

I am trying to spread the word about PIE. PIE is Persistent Identification Element.
This is a cookie from visiting websites, it is Flash MX based. Now this is no normal cookie. What PIE does is keeps you from deleting your cookies so you can keep your information secret.

PIE will be downloaded to your computer without your knowledge, and if you delete the cookie, the next time you go back to that website the cookies will reappear with all your previous information.

Here is a quote from Mookie Tanembaum. Mookie is the CEO and Founder of United Virtualities, the company that has made this cookie, and Macromedia supports the use of it.

"The user is not proficient enough in technology to know if the cookie is good or bad, or how it works," Mookie Tanembaum, founder and chief executive of United Virtualities

I think we all know why we delete these cookies.
We want to keep our information private. Please spread the word about this petition, and here is a link to it below.
Please take the time to sign this if you value your privacy!!
