Default People who are planning to get an 4850/70

Dont get it yet. ATI is planning to do a price drop on their Radeon products early this week.

the 4850 will be priced at $130, and the 4870 will be priced at $150.
They are so cheap that I am planning on purchasing the 4870. But I dont have much use for it since my 8800GT does fine for me. But I will keep this in mind. But it is really tempting, especially after seeing the benches compared to the 8800GT.

Perfect, I was planning on buying a 4870 later on in months. Looks like I'll be having some spare change ^_^

Awesome comes about the perfect time

Is the 20 dollar difference worth it? Isn't much but I've read an OC'd 4850 gets around the same range of a 4870
