Default People with asus a8v deluxe please help.

Ok how the hell do I install windows XP with an asus a8v deluxe mobo and a SATA HD. Ive been stumped for days been calling asus and western digital and nothing has worked. Basically I can install windows 98 but I cant get XP on because it doesnt recognize the drive. Anyone please help me with a solution (dont say get a new mobo please). Also alot of other people are having this problem to.

nvm just got it to work. if anyone is having the same problem go to this
E:\Drivers\VIARAID\6420RAID\DriverDisk and find makedisk. Make a disk and when you hit f6 in your setup use that disk and windows xp will install. The asus manuel tells you to use the promise drivers but your really supposed to use the via.
