Firstly, first post here - so hi everyone!
Forgive my ignorance, but I need some advice about Pentium Processors.
My current laptop (Advent 7111) has a Intel Pentium Core Duo T2050 chip 1.6ghz with 2gb RAM and Win XP, and I am looking to upgrade it. I have identified a laptop (Acer Aspire 7720G Gemstone) that falls within my budget that has an Intel Core 2 Duo T5250 - 1.5GHz (x2) processor with 2gb RAM and Vista Home Premium.
I will be using CS2, Indesign, & Powerpoint with it.
There seem to be so many different Intel Processors now that I've no idea how the above processors compare. Can anyone tell me if the T5250 processor will perform significantly better than the T2050?
