pencil and pad for comp

hey, i am expierienced in concept drawing, and i have always used the mouse to touch up my drawings, but recently i have seen videos of pro. concept artists using a pencil and pad that hook up to your pc, and he was using photoshop w/ the pencil and pad to touch up his drawings. i need these accessories. . if anyone knows of products (the electronic pencil and pad) which do this, pleaaasee respond
