Hey fellas,

Quick question. Was just about to upgrade my mobo, proc and memory and saving my video cards and hdd, etc... And i want one of them new Z77 intel boards ::drool:: But what I've come to notice on newegg is that I can't find a board that has 2x PCI Express 2.0 x16 slots. I've got two nVidia 9600gt's at pci 2.0 express 16x, and all I see are 2x PCI 3.0 express 16x Would I be able to transfer mine into the 3.0 mobo's?

I couldn't really find any information regarding this on Google, so sorry ahead of time if you think I'm "lazy".

Thanks for all the help and info guys, you've always been a real help.

Yes, PCI-E 3.0 is simply PCI-E 2.0 but instead of 16Gb/s its 32Gb/s.

Just like USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 its backwards compatible.

Thanks bud. Yeah I read up on it on Wikipedia, forgot to post up my solution. Thanks again.
