Default Pc2700 Ram

My other computer has an AMD Athlon XP 2000+, and has PC2100 RAM. I'm wonderin if it can use PC2700 RAM. Right now it only has 256 MB, so I'll probably upgrade it to 1GB if it can take PC2700... If i upgrade it, I'm going to take the PC2100 out and put in 2 512's...

He said he was going to take the pc2100 out.

If your motherboard will support it, then yes, you can put pc2700 ram in.

Well, the problem is... I don't know if the motherboard can support it....how can I tell? I tried crucial's http://www.crucial.com/maxpcspecial and it said it could support PC3200 RAM, but I"m not sure.

Well if crucial says its ok, then it should be fine. Easiest way to tell is to try the RAM in
