it has speakers and headphones in red, bellow both of them it says " not plugged in"
i went to online and checked the microsoft web site for windows vista, and it took me here:
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/w...sound-problems
from there i clicked on the link "Diagnose and repair problems with sound and audio"
and I'm currently here,( http://support.microsoft.com/gp/no_s...ntrypoint=WHHT ) but i want to know if i should download it... would it help?

It's an official Microsoft utility, sure, never used it though so I don't know how useful it'll be.

i downloaded it, and at first i thought it was going to fix it, but in the end it still showed that there was something wrong.
but when i un-plugged and plugged back the headphones after around 15 seconds the computer finally recognized it! T.T finally! (although the program i downloaded still said there was something wrong... )

but thank you! so much! for helping me, and sticking around for an hour
i wouldn't have downloaded the program if you didn't okay it... (already have enough viruses from websites that were supposed to be "safe"...)

anyways! Thank you! ^^

Don't you have a" Sound Card " ?
Read it's manual
Read the MBoard Manual
Do a Direct X 9.0 Sound tests
What speakers do you have How (many)
Is the volume controls useable ( Sound, cpl)
