Hi guys,
I'm trying to connect my Dell 8400 w/ Windows XP Media Center to my Panasonic 42" HDTV via a DVI to HDMI cable.
At first it worked, but the resolution wouldn't go higher than 680 x 400 or so. I googled it and found out that I need to update my graphics card driver. Did so and it worked. But then, when I changed the resolution in the control panel, the screen went black. Now when I re-boot, the screen stays completely black, NOT EVEN THE WINDOWS START-UP SCREEN COMES UP!!!
I hook it back up to my PC and it works fine. Also:
I checked both HDMI ports on TV - they still work fine. I bought a new DVI to HDMI cable b/c I was sure that was it - nope. I tried changing the resolution to the lowest it could go and then trying it again - still no picture.
Can anyone help me??! I've tried everything.
Specs: Graphics card: ATI Radeon X300
TV: Panasonic 42PX60U
Appreciate any ideas.
- Daniel
