Get the Zalman, but DO NOT BUY FROM NEWEGG. Get it at Amazon.com like I did, and you won't have to pay tax, or shipping, and it's eight dollars cheaper to begin with. That is, if you don't mind waiting at most a week for it to come.

Yeah, in order to install any heatsink, you would have to uninstall the default socket bracket and install a new one.

Ive overclocked my CPU to 3.6 now making my FSB 960mhz my temps range from 45 - 48 idle pretty right right?

Motherboard - ASUS P4P800 SE / Intel P4 3.0Ghz @ 3.6Ghz w/ HT 800Mhz FSB @ 960Mhz

Update: Zalman still on quiet mode, and it won't budge above like 45 Celsius now. And the stuff is still setting up (takes around 200 hours to get completely set up).

ya zalmans are great theyre very quiet and very good at cooling the only problem ive had with them is that they collect dust like a magnet which affects performance but if u put some fan dust filters on your intake fans then problem solved
