Well, at tops, I only can spend around $70 for a video card, though I would rather spend $50...

P.S. Thanks for helping, ppl!

You have a good bit before you want to buy the PC. Just save up another hundred of so dollars and build your own like I did. I tear through Crysis and other games at maximum settings on a $600.00 build.

really? mines was an $800 build (not the one in my sig)
and i only get about 17FPS on the highest settings with AA on in Vista, and about 25fps with the highest settings without AA on XP.
unless you play on a really low resolution monitor.

What are your specs and resolution?

You need to save up more for a better rig. What you're looking at will not run games decently. I would spend $400 for an office computer, but not a gamer.

OK, I did my research on video cards, and I want ya'll to show me a list from best to worst (top to bottom) of the following video cards:

http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...aCjCVqHCjCdwwp

http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...465&CatId=1558

https://usm.channelonline.com/rivert...&id=M003807815

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814121270

I tried to paste this website, but it kept messing up. So I copied letter for letter, number for number to get exactly the right website. But instead, it went to an "imposter" or "copy" website. It will still tell you all the info you need to know though. Try and find this same video card at Dell.com if you want the real website.

https://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/...098&lid=674095

I'm not sure about this one... I doesn't have a final price yet without calling them...

https://usm.channelonline.com/rivert...?id=M003994707

A long list, eh?

EDIT: Anybody?

you're all over the place man. But seriuosly save up. All those video cards would be bottlenecked by the computer you chose. Don't waste the money.

Hey, I'm sorry. I should have mentioned that.

Asus P5QL Pro Motherboard
Intel Q6600 Quad Core Processor 2.4Ghz
2GB Kingston Hyperx RAM
Nvidia 8800 512 MB PCI EXPRESS 2.0
320GB Western Digital Hard Drive 7,200 RPM
An extremely ventilated TRICOD case

I'm running XP Pro. I'm not a huge fan of Vista. I don't use AA or AF. But, my resolutions are anything from 1024x768 to 14490x900 depending on the game. I can run Crysis Warhead on the highest settings. I keep motion blur to mainstream, though. I'm just not a fan of it, haha. I do get very rare hiccups. But, nothing to worry about.

Well, you have a few things wrong with that. One, get the original Crysis. The original Crysis is A LOT better looking than Warhead. Two, Play on Vista to actually use DX10. Three, that's no $600 dollar build. If you had to pay for Vista it would be a whole bunch more.

Also,JoeBro, I would just save up more money. If you want a gaming computer you can't cheap out of the video card first of all. Get about $600 and a 8800GT and you would be okay. $800 for me in the minimum for a gaming PC, but that's just me.

haha, you were like me when i was trying to purchase my first graphics card, i did not know anything about graphics card, all i knew was one performed better, and the new series always performed better than the old series. But it turns out i was wrong, and then i started researching graphics cards, and i finally know which one is good, and which one is not.
My first card was the X700 2 years back, and it wasnt the best one out, it was outdated too, but it was $50, and i bought it, i noticed dramatically between the card and onboard. After that card, i did more research and now all i do is purchase high-end cards since it fits my needs and i dont need to buy a new graphics card as quick either. so in the end its all worth it.
Though they are pricey, they are well worth it compared to the cheaper ones since they are only about a few $10s more.
