if custom wasnt up there, i would have chosen Voodoo. Sure voodoo is expensive, but their computers are sooo nice. They mod their Lian-li cases to put up fancy designs that look so much cooler than Alienware.

I second the voodoo notion. However, I would take custom over voodoo anyday.

I'd choose Alienware..
They seem to have some great computers, but they are expensive.

Ohh I didn't see the custom one in there. So I chose alienware.
But custom all the way, if u need a prebuilt one then alienware.

ah...i didnt see custom up there. Actually, if I had the money to blow, I would definatly get a falcon. Those aluminum cases on the mach V's are badass.

By far I would go with Falcon. I think they're a much better company and beat Alienware in nearly every aspect. plus, they offer the Ageia PhysX PPU chip, Alienware does too, but still, both companies offer it. Can't wait until it comes out to the general market so we can get our hands on it. I wonder if you can overclock it.

I think all those computers are WAY overpriced. I jsut built a computer with the same specs as a voodoo computer for like 1/2 the price w/ a nicer case.

The Dell Inspiron XPS M1710 Gaming Notebook is even better. It's equipped with the Intel Core Duo T2600, up to 4gb of DDR2 RAM and a nVIDIA GeForce Go 7900 GS 256mb or GeForce Go 7900 GTX 512mb. Insane...it looks hella nice too. Too bad it'll cost you a fortune.

I'll take the Falcon over the Dell anyday, not because they're 'Dell' but because Falcon offers the Ageia PhysX PPU. That there folks, is a chip to be reckoned with.

Dude, okay...no need to keep saying that. We all know you like Falcon Northwest and the fact that they have the Ageia PhysX PPU. Sheesh...

Physics Processing Unit. Currently, it's your CPU's Vector Units that do all the physics calculations, now the PPU does all of it, which lets your CPU have less to handle on physics and lets it concentrate it's work somewhere else.

So.. Basicly, its like a GPU, on your CPU, that deals with not graphics, but the physicls engines. So it handles the game engines its self I guess?

Awesome
