Default The PC that ComputerForums Built.

Awhile ago, I asked about what parts I should get and what-not...the usual newbie questions, was assured that it was easy, and then sent on my way. Guess what: It was easy, and everything works like a charm! (thanks especially to worshipme who had the build for me )

However, the build recommended to me was meant to have 2 4850 in Xfire. I only had money for one at the time, so I bought only 1 of the recommended PaliT cards. I now have the money for a second one, and was wondering which brand to choose. Also, I have 2 more fans, do I need them? (Or just wait and find out the heats when I have 2 cards?)

I'll post some pics here once I can get my digital camera to work.

You can get any brand. Just make sure the base card is a 4850. Visiontek and Sapphire make great cards.

I'd get whatever's cheapest TBH, Visiontek offer a lifetime warranty whereas your Palit has an improved cooler.
AMD Phenom II X4 955 BE @ 4.0GHz + TU120E lapped - MSI 770-CD45 AM3 - 2x2GB OCZ DDR3 1333MHz - Sapphire HD 4870 - Samsung Spinpoint 500GB 7200RPM 16MB cache HDD - Tagan TG600-BZ Piperock - (Currently open test bed) - Windows Vista Home Premium 64bit.
