Default PC components (TV tuner, CD drives, things like that.)

Alright, I am going to make a few suggestions, but basically I want a:

DVD Drive that can read and write.. fast enough.
CD drive that can read and write fast
TV Tuner (card.. whatever) That I can watch TV with and that I can hook up any given game system up to to play on my monitor (That would be an RCA Cable)

Anything else I need for all of these drive bays?

Now for the DVD Drive I don't know if I'm just looking for the DVD burner or what.

Want it to read and write.

Tv Tuner
I don't know if it needs to be "Express" or "PCI Express x1"

Can I record TV and stuff like that with this thing too?

Thanks

I will have windows XP

As for the price of these things.. I don't know. I don't really want to go up to 100$ on the Tuner, but If I have to to get one that does what I want...

ONE MORE THING. The 4800 video cards come out on the 25th. At least the good one does.. so I'm going to wait for it. I need a substitute. This work?

I will be ordering my ram and the card tomorrow. And also the Tuner and the CD and DVD drives.

You'll want a SATA interface so you don't have to deal with thick, untidy cables, and anything 18x+ write speed will be more than fast enough, this will do fine: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16827106263

It's always useful to have an extra card lying around too just in case something goes wrong, and for $20, you might as well get it. I have a 6200 that I use.

I'm not clued up on TV tuners so I'll leave that to other people.

THANK YOU!!! I am going to go ahead and order!! Thank you so much!!

This one CD drive does everything? So should I get two of them for the hell of it?

Oh, and I don't want one on the cheap end.. I don't know how good that is.. I don't work in these fields

Well actually, they all look the same to me up to 50$ and that's as high as I will go.. except instead of 20x it's 22x :P

Also may want to keep in mind that this is 31$ with shipping. So I can get a better one with free shipping for the same price!

What about this TV tuner

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16815116015

Never mind. Only has audio ports.

This one has a video rca port as well, I want to play my xbox on it.. that's why I want it.
Although it's compatable with media center. I have XP. Will it still work?

Alright! I already made another order for the Tuner and the Drive.. so I'll probably buy another drive just to ahve two drives. I have all of these empty spaces

I may buy two more just so I can have a couple of games in there at once that I don't have to switch out.

Thanks for clearing that up, eggyhustles!

Thanks

you dont need 4 dvd burners. just get one or two burners and then get some simple CDR for having more. you dont need to have a game sit in a nice dvd burner when all you will use i the CDR part of it. you no what i mean. unless you plan to use 4 dvd burners at once.
